South Florida Voice Lessons
Info & FAQ
For those in search of voice teachers in South Florida, I am currently available for voice lessons for all levels!
In addition to my performing experience, I am passionate about teaching and sharing my singing knowledge with my voice students. No matter your experience level, voice lessons are a wonderful way to help increase your singing skills, confidence, and overall happiness.
Over the years, I’ve provided instruction to a wide range of private voice students, and taught as an adjunct professor of Lyric Diction at the Chicago College of the Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. It is truly a joy to be able to share my experience with singers looking to grow and improve their skills and stage presence.
Why should I learn the classical singing technique?
Building your singing foundation on a classical technique can set you up for years of healthy singing and, over time, will give you flexibility as you explore other styles of music you love. Don’t forget, classical singing includes much more than just opera! There are thousands of beautiful songs in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian that you can learn. Classical voice lessons can even be a wonderful supplement to learning a new language.
Who should take voice lessons?
Both beginners and experienced singers can take voice lessons! Whether you’re just starting your singing journey or you’re preparing for auditions for school or professional work, I am here to help. All voice lessons will focus on learning a healthy vocal technique, body-breath connection, improving resonance, building repertoire, and singing with proper diction.
While anyone can learn the basics of singing, my recommendation is that students begin taking private lessons once they have started high school.
When and how can I schedule a lesson?
I currently offer individual 45-minute singing lessons for $40 per lesson. For voice lessons in your home, there is an additional $15 travel fee. Lessons can be scheduled for Monday-Sunday, and virtual lessons are still available via Zoom.
To schedule or inquire about lessons please feel free to send an e-mail to: catherinespitzersoprano @ gmail.com. Additionally, you can send a message via website message.
I look forward to hearing from you!
